The Crown Estate Paving Commission (CEPC) manages and maintains areas of Crown Land around the Regent's Park and Carlton House Terrace in London.
It is responsible for roads, pavements and gardens and also provides street cleaning, lighting and garden maintenance services. Using its 24 hour security patrol, it regulates on-street parking and issues licences to those wishing to work in its areas of operation.
As a statutory body in its own right, the CEPC is independent of The Crown Estate and the local authorities. It is funded entirely through its rates and services to local residents and businesses.
