The first meeting of the newly formed Business Security Forum took place on 27th October. This is a new venture bringing together the Police and security professionals from a range of organisations and businesses that operate around Regent’s Park. It is an opportunity to share best practice, discuss current security trends, and share real-time information and intelligence data that will improve security for everyone.
The CEPC was represented by Martin Dolby, its new Traffic & Security Manager, who is also working on an equivalent residential security forum, as part of the CEPC’s Security Enhancement Project. The aim of the project is to create a more integrated and coordinated security approach among the many independent security teams that operate in the residential areas around the park. By acting as a link between them and the Police, and by encouraging co-ordinated responses to current security issues, the CEPC hopes to make the park’s terraces even more secure places to live in.
