CEPC and The Crown Estate
Is the CEPC part of The Crown Estate?
Despite our very similar names, The Crown Estate and the Crown Estate Paving Commission are entirely separate and independent statutory bodies, each set up by their own distinct Acts of Parliament. The CEPC is not part of The Crown Estate and is financially independent from it.
The CEPC only handles matters relating to the managment of its roads, pavements or gardens and the services that arise as part of its management responsibilities.
Crown Estate residents who have queries about their leases or any matter relating to their property are advised to speak to The Crown Estate through the relevant managing agents.
