Dear Resident/Ratepayer,
Following the previous Residents’ Forum, improving safety around the Outer Circle has remained a key priority for the Crown Estate Paving Commission. As you may be aware, the Commission will be upgrading three non-signalised pedestrian crossings to signalised crossings. These are located at Kent Passage, Chester Gate, and Monkey Gate (near the running track). Works are scheduled to begin in November 2025 and are expected to be completed before Christmas.
While these improvements will enhance safety at three busy crossing points, the Commission has also commissioned Urban Flow (specialists in transport planning, movement strategy, and landscape design) to carry out a wider review of the Outer Circle. Their aim is to explore further ways to make the area safer and more accessible for all users, while preserving the unique character of Regent’s Park.
To support this, Urban Flow will be holding an open drop-in session for residents/ratepayers to share their experiences and day-to-day concerns regarding the Outer Circle.
Date & Time: Thursday 6 November 2025, 4:00–7:00pm
Venue: International Students House, 229 Great Portland Street, W1W 5PN
(No advance booking required, but registration will take place on arrival.)
If you cannot attend the session, please email your comments or concerns to info@cepc.org.uk, and we will ensure they are passed on to Urban Flow. With any written comments please include your name and CEPC ratepaying address.
